Canadian Roots, Mexican Craft: The Harmonica Story - Harmonica
All Know more about us

Harmonica brings together Canadian design and Mexican craftsmanship. Our shoes are designed in Canada and handmade in Mexico, through partnerships with artisans whose skills are central to the collection. These two places belong in the same story.

A personal connection to the craft

Founders Cinthia and Carlos grew up around artisan work. That connection informs how they think about footwear: the finished shoe carries the knowledge and effort of the person who made it. Harmonica is a way to bring that craftsmanship into a collection for everyday dressing.

The brand’s Canadian roots shape its design perspective. Mexican makers bring those ideas to life through their work with leather and shoemaking. Each contribution has its own place in the process.

Made in Mexico

Our artisan story includes shoemaking in Sahuayo and León. Rather than treating the place of production as a small line in a product description, we want customers to understand that it is an essential part of Harmonica.

The workshop images on our website show preparation, weaving and shaping. They make the connection between the design you choose and the people who make it tangible.

A shared approach to the finished pair

We are drawn to woven textures, leather and silhouettes that can become part of your own wardrobe. The collection includes different styles, so materials, fit and construction should always be checked on the individual product page.

Our commitment to fair pay sits alongside this design story. We value the artisans as partners and recognise the skilled work behind our shoes. Canadian design and Mexican making are connected through those relationships.
